From January 2023 to June 2024 SHF provided services to individuals in the following areas.

  • Legal Referral: Approximately 50

  • Immigration Application: TPS Application Assistance- 250 Applications

  • Case Management : 300 interactions of case management services/activities

  • Education (ESOL Language course): 80 participants

  • Workforce/Skills Training (2 cohorts - 24 individuals)

  • Employment:

    • Referrals to employment opportunities: 110

    • Direct placements 70

  • Housing

    • Direct Housing Provided (Family households that may include minor children or adults only with no children): 15

    • In-direct (Referrals for housing placement): 9

  • Medical Screenings: Approximately 250 individuals were provided basic medical screenings

  • School Connection: Approximately 7 families, 10 children

  • Religious Services Connections: 3 weekly services made available per week. 228 available religious service opportunities.

  • Transportation: Transportation assistance include round trips to employments, social service appointments, and various other meetings.

  • Social Service Connection: Approximately 50 interactions of social service connections

Workforce/Skills Training: IT certification training and Certified Nursing Assistant Certification training

  • IT:Winter/Spring (10 participants) & Summer/Fall 2025 cohort (10 participant)

  • CNA:Pilot cohort of CNA certification (5 individuals)

Workforce Placements: Soft skills training and employment preparation assistances.

Transportation supports to new employment opportunity. 

Soft Skills:  Monthly class offering

ESOL Courses: Support of Winter/Spring & Summer/Fall 2025 cohorts.

Case Management:  Salary for 1 part-time staff member and stipends for 3 volunteers, FY 2025

Housing Program: Renovation of current temporary housing shelter location and funds for short-term/emergency housing assistance
